This remodel project is an example of the quality design and workmanship by Remodeling Solutions. It incorporates all the little details that make a house an enjoyable and functional home without the expense of additions or gutting the interior and starting over. In redesigning the floor plan, we focused on overcoming the original limitations of the layout.
Before:
· Shake exterior siding that had been painted numerous times
· A basic 3-bedroom floor plan with a small enclosed kitchen and no dining area
· A small, narrow bathroom.
After:
· Exterior siding features Colorado cultured river stone and heavy vinyl shakes
· Exterior pillars adorn the stained concrete front stoop
· Flooring has been upgraded to ceramic and duraceramic
· Walls have bull-nosed corners with updated texture and custom paint.
· Kitchen remodel included: beautiful cherry-stained maple cabinets, eating bar and an under mount sink.
· Bathroom remodel included: removing a closet to increase space resulting in a granite-top make-up counter, space-saving cherry vanity with an expanded top, ceramic tile design to increase space visually, and replacement of all fixtures.
· Recessed lighting and unique interior architectural drywall design is found throughout the main floor of the home.
· Egress windows were installed in anticipation of the homeowner's future basement finish.
The project was completed January 2010.
